It is to help effective approaches to peace education find one another, reach wider audiences and influence public priorities.
Our perspective
Peace is both a human need and a human right.
People around the planet say they want peace, but too few people are taught how to learn, build or grow it. The consequences reach our children, communities and shared future.
Peace educators offer practical ways to cultivate peace within ourselves, with one another, in our communities and with our planet. Their life-changing work is too often overlooked. GPEN exists to connect it, strengthen it and bring it into view.
