Global Peace Education Day 2024
The fourth annual conference connected peace educators, advocates and communities through four hours of presentations on impact, security, sustainability, culture of peace, justice and human rights.
Fourth annual conference
Connecting peace educators, advocates and communities.
The program began from a direct premise: humanity faces interrelated crises—including climate change, armed conflict, intolerance, displacement and misinformation—while most people are never taught how to live peacefully with themselves, their social circles, their communities and the planet.
GPEN’s stated global strategy is to help every person gain access to the skills and knowledge needed for a peaceful and prosperous life—individually, with others and with the planet.
The live webinar offered Spanish and French translation. It streamed at 8 a.m. Los Angeles, 11 a.m. New York, 3 p.m. UTC, 4 p.m. London, noon Buenos Aires, and 5 p.m. Paris and Madrid.
